In late 2014, we were invited to design and construct a private adventure trail in a backyard that included a steep embankment.

Works involved the construction of walking pathway comprised of a maximum 50 batten steps anchored using galvanised rods.
Boxed out sleeper steps were constructed on the steep embankment, with compacted earth, road-base and a decomposed granite infill surface providing an attractive and hard wearing surface.
At the foot of the flight of stairs, an informal pathway was delineated with logs found on site to demarcate the path from surrounding bushland.
