Jay has extensive industry experience in planning and managing large scale ecological projects and has been instrumental to the success of many well-known Sydney and Illawarra based projects. Jay provides consultative advice ensuring positive, long term results using ecologically sustainable methods.
Jay has worked alongside a wide range of clients including Stockland, BHP Billiton, The Sheargold Group and various Local Government Councils. His consultancy strategies and environmental solution advice is creative, practical and cost-effective.
Benita delivers a wealth of experience to Southern Habitat gained from working with corporate blue-chip companies through to running her own boutique consultancy firm. Benita offers sound business and financial management expertise and advice, whilst ensuring compliance with all legal and statutory requirements.
Mark joined the Southern Habitat team in 2008 and has since become an essential member of the company. His passion for land and flora conservation, natural resource management and sustainable land management techniques has seen him successfully deliver a range of projects.
Mark is able to foster strong relationships and ensure all our projects are delivered within strict deadlines and budgets, without sacrificing quality.
Jason brings confidence and maturity to the Sydney Southern Habitat team, as well as a confidence and passion for conservation and land management. Jason plays a key role in delivering projects for Parramatta, Sutherland and Liverpool Councils.
Drewe is a seasoned environmental professional who successfully delivers on-ground projects for Southern Habitat clients throughout New South Wales. Drewe offers over 15 years industry experience and an extensive working knowledge of a wide range of vegetation communities. Drewe approaches his role and projects with both experience and sensitivity, and has successfully managed projects such as Hillcrest Village and Lakewood Salvinia Control.
David’s exceptional nursery, conservation and land management skills add tremendous value to the Southern Habitat team. David led the field operations team in the vegetation management plan for ’The Pinnacle’, Dapto and has been a crucial team member for the various Wollongong City Council LGA sites.
Neville has been a key member of the field operating team for over 7 years and brings extensive knowledge and experience in large-scale landscaping as well as horticulture and land management. Nev was a key team member of rehabilitation and landscaping works at ‘Hilltop’ and at many local government sites.
Charles has been providing over 6 years field operations expertise to the clients of Southern Habitat and specialises in conservation and land management. Charles has project experience with major Wollongong City Council projects such as Byarong Creek and Puckey’s Estate.
When she is not being a bookkeeper extraordinaire, Jenny helps manage our growing IT needs....no wonder she finds it necessary to go for long bike rides!
David has been with the Southern Habitat Group since 2011 and brings extensive horticulture, parks and gardens management experience to the field operations team. He works to the highest standards to carry out conservation and land management projects and has been involved in the success of many Southern Habitat projects.
After first completing work experience with Southern Habitat, local high school student Braydon now works at our depot every afternoon. His duties include packing trucks for the following day, restocking consumables, light vehicle maintenance and general cleaning and depot maintenance.
